PROFI aluminium mounting bracket set - secure & flexible mounting of solar modules

Our solar mounting system made of aluminium brackets is used to securely mount solar modules on motorhomes, caravans, expedition vehicles, boats and much more. The flexible positioning of the brackets makes it possible to mount solar modules even on uneven roof surfaces, for example on curved roof surfaces. The brackets have several drill holes so that the distance between the solar modules and the roof surface can be varied. As a rule, the brackets are mounted on the front sides (short sides) of the solar module. Ideally, the mounting bracket should cover the entire front of the solar module, which minimises wind noise.

How are the solar panel brackets fitted?
Mounting the bracket is very simple. The mounting brackets are attached to the solar panel using screws via the holes provided in the mounting bracket. The drill holes of different heights allow the brackets to be mounted flexibly on the solar module. The mounting brackets are attached to the roof surface using adhesive only. The procedure for adhesive fixing can be found in the instructions for the adhesive used, our recommendation: Dekalin MS-5 adhesive set
The set includes two mounting brackets, each 397 mm long, and the necessary fixing screws. Installation is quick and easy, even without any manual experience.
How weather-resistant are the brackets?
The bracket is made of aluminium, which is powder-coated in black and therefore ideally suited for long-term outdoor use. The black surface looks elegant and blends in perfectly with dark vehicle roofs or black solar module frames.
Note on mounting the brackets
To complete your off-grid system for your motorhome or boat, in addition to the solar modules, the charge controller and the mounting bracket, you also need a roof bushing to route the cables from the outside of the roof into the cabin. Our roof bushings are UV, weather and water resistant. Fastening material or alternative spoilers and mounting brackets can be found in the fastening material category.

The Dekalin Dekasyl MS-5 adhesive is recommended for installation. It is available in the colours black and white, as well as in the Dekalin MS-5 adhesive set.
