The JA Solar JAM54D40-465/LB monocrystalline solar module for your home installation or balcony power plant offers improved light output and optimised current flow, increasing module performance and reliability. PID resistance ensures excellent anti-PID performance thanks to optimised mass production processes and material control. Potential induced degradation (PID) can be understood as an umbrella term for ageing phenomena caused by the potential difference between cells and earth.
The glass-glass structure protects the solar cells from mechanical stress and environmental influences. This design increases the service life of the module and ensures a higher fire protection class. Resistance to potential-induced degradation (PID) is guaranteed by this design, and the solar module is also certified to withstand a wind load of 2400 pascals and a snow load of 5400 pascals.
The module is based on 108 monocrystalline N-type cells with a cell size of 182 x 92mm and a nominal output of 465Wp. The positive power tolerance of +5 watts guarantees that each module achieves at least the specified power. The low temperature coefficient of -0.29%/°C ensures low power losses at high temperatures. The bypass diodes are integrated and the connection is made via MC4-compatible connectors.

Two of these modules can be connected to our EcoFlow STREAM micro inverter 800W. For larger domestic installations, several of these modules can of course be connected to form one or more strings. Bifacial mode of operation
Thanks to bifacial technology, the module not only absorbs sunlight from the front, but also utilises the light reflected from the surface on the back. Depending on the reflectivity of the surface, the energy yield can be increased by up to 30%. This technology unfolds its full potential on flat roofs or in ground-mounted systems in particular, making the module a particularly efficient choice for these areas of application.
