Thisspecial adhesive is used to bond retaining spoilers, spoiler corners for solar cells, roof ducts for solar cables, solar adhesive modules, aluminium brackets and much more securely and waterproof to the roof of motorhomes, boats or vehicles. Dekasyl MS-5 is a power adhesive with high initial strength for creating elastic, constructive, structural connections. It is mainly used in the leisure vehicle sector.

It is a one-component adhesive that is ready for immediate use. The surfaces must first be cleaned with the enclosed cleaner, the bonding surfaces are activated with the bonding agent supplied, then the adhesive is applied in bead form and the part to be bonded is lightly pressed onto the roof surface. After 24 hours, the adhesive has hardened and the bonded joint is permanently firm and waterproof.

DEKAsyl MS-5 adhesive

This is a high tack adhesive and sealant for all vehicle construction applications. It is an MS polymer-based adhesive with high adhesion and initial strength, which is suitable for producing elastic connections between components. Due to its high adhesive strength, clamping times can be reduced or clamping completely eliminated. In addition, DEKASYL MS-5 can also be used as a sealant if similar materials (with similar stiffness) are to be joined or if mechanical fastening methods are used. It is used for elastic connections and seals in caravans, motorhomes, boats or even expedition vehicles. It is used, for example, for antenna systems and solar module spoilers,
semi-flexible solar modules or roof penetrations. It can also be used for bonding edge profiles on trailers with aluminium or polyester and for bonding polyester parts to metal frames.

DEKAvator 22NF bonding agent

DEKAVATOR is an adhesion promoter that improves the adhesion of various Dekalin products based on MS polymer, such as DEKASYL, to closed surfaces. The adhesion promoter or adhesion activator improves bondability because it acts as a chemical bridge between the component to be bonded and the adhesive. It is quick-drying (flash-off time approx. 5 minutes), easy to use and therefore shortens the assembly time. It is ideally suited for plastic surfaces.

Cleaning cloth DEKAclean Ultra

The individually packaged cleaning cloth is impregnated with DEKAclean and is ready for immediate use. DEKACLEAN ULTRA is a fast and powerful cleaner for many purposes. DEKACLEAN ULTRA dries quickly, leaves no residue and is suitable for different surfaces. It is ideal for cleaning and degreasing surfaces before bonding and sealing with specific Dekalin products.

• Cleaning of aluminium, steel, copper and brass
• Cleaning of powder-coated metal
• Cleaning of painted metal
• Cleaning of (ceramic-coated) glass
• Cleaning polyester (GRP), ABS, PVC, PMMA, polycarbonates, polyurethane
• Removal of uncured MS polymer-based sealants and adhesives from bonding surfaces and tools

Wool felt applicator for adhesion promoters

The wool felt applicator enables clean and precise application of adhesive primers such as primer products. It consists of high-quality wool felt and a sturdy metal handle. The wool felt has a high transfer capacity of the substance with a loss-free transfer.
