The 25-75 K tank electrode enables precise level measurement in fresh water, gray water and black water tanks made of plastic or metal, and is designed for tanks with a height of between 25 and a maximum of 75 cm, such as those used in motorhomes, caravans, expedition vehicles, food trucks and boats. It is suitable for continuous operation at 12V and 24V. Measurements are taken entirely electronically using capacitive technology – with no moving mechanical parts whatsoever – and are transmitted to the display unit via a 3-core cable. Thanks to their fully encapsulated electronics, the sensors are particularly robust and resistant to dirt.
This tank electrode has been designed for vertical installation. Unlike waste water and sewage tanks (which can accumulate sediment), fresh water tanks can also be mounted on their underside. Depending on the local conditions (space available above the tank, cut-out in the false floor, tank height, etc.), the tank sensor can be mounted either inside or outside the tank. The measuring electrode can easily be cut to the height of the tank using a metal saw, a sturdy pair of side cutters or bolt cutters. The precise “full” adjustment is carried out using a control at the top of the sensor; if necessary, this can also be done “dry” using the printed scale.
