With the flexible 145Wp solar module, you have the ideal solution to supply your motorhome, expedition vehicle, boat or yacht with solar power inconspicuously and efficiently. It is perfect for curved surfaces and wherever low installation height and low weight are crucial, allowing curved surfaces to be utilised safely and efficiently. As a German solar module manufacturer, SolarSwiss places particular emphasis on the longevity of the solar cells, because only if a flexible solar module works efficiently for a long time is it a sustainable and reliable power source for on the move - easy to install and immediately ready for use.

In addition to the conventional solar structure (solar cells, adhesive layers, etc.), all flexible solar modules from SolarSwiss have additional layers for reinforcement. This provides the solar cells with additional protection against mechanical influences, so that the solar modules continue to produce electricity as on the first day, even after many years. They can be bent lengthways by up to 4.5 cm per metre of module length, but the module must not be bent crossways.With an overall height of just 3.5mm (+ junction box) and a weight of approx. 3.6 kg , they are particularly flat and light - around a third of a conventional module with an aluminium frame and glass surface.

Thanks to the monocrystalline cells and perfectly harmonised components, the result is a long-lasting high-performance product with a constant power yield - Made in Germany. These quality features make the flexible solar module ideal for use in caravans and boats. The waterproof module junction box is located on the top and the cables can be connected directly using spring clips - no soldering, crimping or screws required.

Note: The bending properties of the flexible module only apply to the longitudinal direction. It must not be bent in the transverse direction!

Installation instructions for flexible solar modules

The flexible solar module must be mounted on a solid, rigid surface so that mechanical loads on the mounting surface are not transferred to the module. Fastening is carried out with a high-quality adhesive, such as Dekalin MS-5. Alternatively, special adhesive tape can be used. Retaining spoilers, brackets or other fixing materials are not required.
