The lightweight and flexible (bendable) 110Wp solar module-Flexibel-110W-12V-KVM6C with 41 monocrystalline solar cells "Made in Germany" is visually and qualitatively extremely high quality and cannot be compared with most inexpensive flex modules from the Far East. We know the different module qualities of the flexible solar modules very well, you decide for yourself. It allows you to remain self-sufficient for a long time and produce your own electricity. This is guaranteed by the solar module manufacturer from Baden Württemberg, Solar Swiss. This makes it ideal for use on your motorhome, boat, caravan or expedition vehicle , while the monocrystalline cells and harmonised components guarantee a constant power yield and a long-lasting high-performance product.

If you want to be independent of electricity but don't want to install heavy solar modules, then this solar module is just right for you.

In addition to the conventional solar structure (solar cells, adhesive layers, etc.), all flexible solar modules from SolarSwiss have additional layers for reinforcement. This provides the solar cells with additional protection against mechanical influences, so that the solar modules continue to produce electricity as on the first day, even after many years.

Flexible solar module 110W-12V-KVM6C

Flexible solar modules allow curved surfaces, for example on a boat or motorhome, to be used safely and efficiently. By gluing the module onto the surface, it adapts optimally to curves. The flexible solar module can be bent easily thanks to a specially developed carrier plate, whereby the solar cells are not stressed by the bending. The advantage of the carrier plate is its low weight and above-average robustness. As a German solar module manufacturer, Solar Swiss focusses on the longevity of the solar cells, because a flexible solar module can only be a sustainable power source if it works efficiently for a long time.

The height of this solar module is only 3.5 mm (+ junction box). This is not only an advantage for the height of the vehicle, but also a weight aspect that should not be neglected. At approx. 3.4 kg, the Flex module weighs almost a third of a conventional solar module with an aluminium frame and glass surface. The waterproof module junction box is located on the top, and the cables can be connected directly in the junction box using spring clips (no soldering, crimping or screws required).

Mounting:

The module must be mounted on a solid / rigid surface! Mechanical loads on the mounting surface must not be transferred to the module. It is glued to the roof using an adhesive (e.g. Dekalin MS5 or Sikaflex 252). Alternatively, mounting with special adhesive tapes is also possible. No retaining spoilers, brackets or other fixing materials are required.
