The Bergstrom OpenAIR mounting kit 70 x 50cm is the ideal mounting solution if you want to replace your existing 70 x 50cm roof hatch with an OpenAIR 12V roof air conditioner. Perfectly matched to the Bergstrom OpenAIR roof air conditioning system, it offers a precise fit, stable fastening and all the necessary components for safe and permanent ceiling installation - ideal for converting or retrofitting motorhomes, caravans or expedition vehicles.
With the supplied connecting plate, the existing 70 x 50 cm roof opening is reduced to the required size of 40 x 40 cm - a necessary prerequisite for mounting your Bergstrom OpenAir 12V air conditioning system. The interior panel, which is also included in the scope of delivery, ensures a clean interior view and covers the opening in the interior.

Note: The existing roof hatch and frame must be completely removed before installation. The mounting kit is suitable for roofs with a thickness of between 30 and 60 mm.
For standard roof openings of 40 x 40 cm, we recommend the OpenAIR mounting kit 40 x 40 cm.
Can I only use the 70 x 50cm mounting kit for the OpenAIR air conditioning system?
No - the mounting set is suitable for all types of roof structures where you want to reduce your existing roof opening from 70 x 50cm to a standardised roof opening of 40 x 40cm. You can use it flexibly - for example, to replace your old roof hatch with a ventilation system designed for a roof opening of 40 x 40 cm.
