The remote-controlled battery main switch FHR 265 enables convenient remote-controlled switching on and off of the connected loads from anywhere in the motorhome, service vehicle or boat. The FHR 265 can be operated by connecting the remote control panel FAR or the control switch RCS and you receive feedback on the switching status via the control LED.
In an emergency, the relay can be operated manually via a short cable at the relay terminals on the front.

Note: Ensure that the cables are strain-relieved at a maximum distance of 30cm and note that the battery must be disconnected before installation!
Manual emergency operation of the main battery switch FHR 265
In the event of a failure of the control electronics, an external cable bridge between the minus and the upper screw heads of the centre relay terminal can be used to switch the relay on manually by means of a short switching pulse (1 second).

The cable cross-section of the connecting cables to the battery or battery bank and the consumers should be between 10 - 95 mm², depending on the maximum consumer current.
The heat loss and thus the maximum load capacity of the relay is largely dissipated via the connected cables. Therefore, dimension the cable cross-section at least as follows:
- up to 65A / 16 mm²
- up to 90A / 25 mm²
- up to 120A / 35 mm²
- up to 150A / 50 mm²
- up to 210A / 70 mm²
- up to 265A / 95 mm²

Operation of the FHR 265 battery main switch
The internal LED flashes briefly to indicate that it is ready for operation. When the relay is switched on, the internal LED and the LED light on the remote control panel light up continuously.
